Case study:
"Pink Imaging" (PI) runs a busy professional photographic business based in the Algarve Portugal.
The Brief:
To create a website that would showcase the various categories of imagery in which they specialise, a vehicle to deliver high resolution images to professional clients and individual client galleries enabling invited visitors to view and purchase photographs.
Specific requirements:
The site was to consist of three sections. "Public" section - available to all visitors.
"Client" section - password protected, available to selected visitors. "Admin" section -
password protected - available to PI site administrator.
The "public" pages to be available in English and Portuguese language.
PI to be able to delete and load images to categories as required.
Individual "client" pages to be password protected. PI to have the facility to add/delete
clients, load pictures to client gallery with optional on-line purchase. In addition PI
required the facility to upload large files of high resolution imagery for later download by clients.
The "admin" pages enable PI staff to maintain their public galleries, maintain and monitor clients and
identify/manage on-line orders.
